Biography

Fuegan is the most bellicose and least subtle of the Phoenix Lords — a warrior who has always understood that some things must simply be destroyed, utterly and completely, until nothing remains. He founded the Fire Dragons to embody that principle: these are warriors who walk into the hottest fighting, press their weapons against tank hulls and fortress walls, and hold the trigger until there is only fire and ruin where the enemy once stood. There is no range, no safe distance, no clever tactical maneuvering in the Fire Dragon doctrine. There is only the advance, and the killing heat.

The prophecy of the Rhana Dandra — the final apocalyptic battle that Aeldari seers have long predicted — names Fuegan as the Last Phoenix, the one who will hold the line after all others have fallen, enduring until the final moment of the universe. He knows this fate. He does not shy from it. There is a grim certainty to Fuegan that sets him apart from his kin — where others fight to preserve the Aeldari race, Fuegan fights because fire is his nature, and because when the end finally comes, he intends to make it burn bright enough that the gods themselves take notice.

MELEE WEAPON
The Fire Pike
A long-hafted power weapon of ancient design, the Fire Pike doubles as both lance and torch — its tip superheated to the point where it melts through tank armour on contact while the haft's integrated channels vent superheated gas in a cone of killing flame. Fuegan employs it with the casual brutality of a warrior who has spent ten thousand years perfecting the art of getting close enough to burn his enemies alive.
RANGED WEAPON
Firepike
Fuegan's Firepike is the supreme expression of Fire Dragon weaponry — a fusion pistol scaled up to monstrous proportions, capable of venting superheated plasma at close range with sufficient force to vapourise vehicle armour. He carries it as a sidearm, deploying it in the opening seconds of an assault to eliminate overwatch threats before transitioning to the Fire Pike for the killing work at blade range.
ARMOUR
The Armour of the Burning Lance
Forged from a ceramic-alloy composite that can withstand sustained plasma fire, the Armour of the Burning Lance is built for the hellish environments Fire Dragons inhabit — breached reactors, burning tank hulls, the interiors of fortresses that are already falling. Its surfaces bear the scorch marks of ten thousand engagements, never fully cleaned, worn as testament to the battles survived. Inside the armour, the heat-management systems keep Fuegan cool even when standing in the centre of an inferno.
RELIC
The Mantle of Flame
A cloak of living flame that wraps Fuegan's shoulders, maintained by a psychic matrix woven into the armour's systems — it burns constantly without consuming itself, and in battle it billows outward in sheets of fire that incinerate infantry who close to melee range. Enemies who breach Fuegan's guard find themselves burning before his Pike even rises to strike. It also serves as camouflage in the burning landscapes where Fire Dragons prefer to fight, rendering Fuegan almost invisible against walls of flame.
